Background
Alia is a startup changing the pop-up game. Since they began building in 2020, they have amassed a client base comprising some of the most recognizable e-commerce brands in the industry and have grown from a team of two to six.
Throughout their early years, I worked with the Alia team on a number of engagements, including redesigns of their product, pop-ups, and their backend portal. Eventually, the Alia team approached me to reimagine their brand identity as well.
The icon is built to resemble pop-up windows, at the core of Alia’s product offering, which intersect to activate the negative space between them. Literally, this reflects the idea that a pop-up floats above a webpage window. Metaphorically, it represents Alia as the bridge between brands and their customers.
The wordmark is a modified version of The Future typeface, where the 'A' is tilted to match the angles of the icon, representing the upward trajectory of growth and scale. The tittle of the ‘i’ has been squared off to mirror the sharp angles of the icon.
